This Sunday, August 12th, the lovable Queen of Mean will be the big headliner once again on Comedy Central's Annual Roast of Flavor Flav! Lisa will hit the stage wearing a custom dress designed by Cibeline. Lisa will be performing alongside such luminaries as everybody's favorite stoner, Snoop Dogg; "Law & Order: SVU"'s Ice-T; prop guy extraodinaire Carrot Top; late-night TV's Jimmy Kimmel; and blond bombshell Brigette Neilsen, among others.

So Clean out your closet and bring in 3-5 pieces of gently worn garments that are chic & fashionable to someone else and you can swap your pieces for another's old treasures!
You will receive a Swap & Shop coupon for $5 off for each item ~ up to 5 items! The coupons can be used to get up to $25 off a purchase of $75 or more (in store that night only, sale items not included) or use to "buy" a garment off the swap rack. All swap items will be $5 each. ALL sizes are welcome & just make sure your clothing arrives clean & on HANGERS Please.
The extra garments from the swap will go towards helping homeless women through Solutions at Work, a Cambridge-based nonprofit organization that provides free interview-appropriate clothing for women in need, with their SolutionsWear program.

FALL 2006 FASHION SHOW
Tickets are still available for Cibeline's Fall 2006 Fashion Show: Tinsletown Bombshells.
Cibeline's sultry and sophisticated homage to the 1940s will be held at Parris Night Club in Faneuil Hall (Next to Ned Devines on 2nd Floor), Boston on Thursday, October 26th, at 6 p.m. (Fashion walks at 7:30 p.m.) Admission includes a Gift Bag loaded with sponsor goodies, appetizers, night club entrance, and a chance to win a $500 wardrobe consultation with Cibeline. Tickets are $40 and proceeds will benefit the Jimmy Fund to help support the cure for breast cancer.

Have you ever just wanted to "Spring Clean" out your closet and trade your good "hardly ever worn" clothes with your best friends?
This event was such a huge hit last year that we're having it again...Its time to 'Clean out' your closet & head to Cibeline for our Ladies Night Out Event on Wednesday, June 14th from 5 to 9pm!
Come by with gently worn work/chic appropriate garments (on hangers), and you will get to SWAP them for stuff that some other cool cat no longer needs herself! Please only bring clothes that you think some one else would benefit from, i.e. tailored business attire, chic going out, designer-esque caliber stuff that ya just don't wear anymore. We will be giving $5 coupons for each garment (up to 5) that you bring in for the swap that can be used towards purchases made on 6/14/06!

"An Income of Her Own" - Teen Entrepreneurship Conference
The Entrepreneurial Spirit of Teenage Girls
Despite freezing temperatures and biting winds, more than 70 teenage girls from local middle and high schools came to Babson on January 14 for the Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Conference. They participated in a day of activities focused on increasing their financial literacy and independence.
The Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Conference encourages girls ages 12 to 16 to take control of their financial future at an early age by broadening their understanding of the business world, creating an awareness of career options in business, and highlighting the rewards of financial independence. The Bulfinch Group, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, The Commonwealth Institute, and the Center for Women's Leadership at BabsonCollege partnered to offer these girls the opportunity to gain confidence in their ability to be businesswomen, entrepreneurs, and financially savvy women.
Throughout the day, the girls interacted with local women entrepreneurs to explore business ownership and financial independence through activities such as the;Hot Company.
"The day was groundbreaking." says Lauren Stakutis, marketing director at The Bullfinch Group.Young women left with a sense of leadership, financial independence, and the power to succeed in their future endeavors. When given the opportunity to be creative and strategic, they proved the sky's the limit!
